Where it all began
The story behind LOVE IN A JEWEL® is as personal as the designs themselves.
When I (Tracy) lost my beautiful mother, I asked Joachim (my husband), to craft a special pendant to hold Mum's memory close forever.
Not knowing that his gift to me would later become a gift to many, this was the start of our story.
Once Joachim had made my special pendant we then wanted to make pendants for my young nieces which would hold Mum's handwriting inside forever.
So we scanned her beautiful handwriting from a birthday card Mum had handmade and placed it inside the pendants for the girls to wear with love.
Someone suggested other people might like this as well.
Thinking about how important it is to show those we love, how loved they are,
we started to imagine handpenned notes being written to partners, mums, dads, children, grandparents and friends
and sealing these inside jewellery. We imagined how special these pieces of jewellery holding personal love would be for people to give and to receive.
With that, after many hours of designing and creating from a special place in our hearts, LOVE IN A JEWEL® began.
Established in 2016, our keepsake designs tell a story, your love story.
What sets our jewellery apart is the love that is connected with it.
The pieces are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside due to the personal love held inside every one!
The LOVE IN A JEWEL® Keepsake Collection is designed with a special compartment to hold a note or keepsake inside to cherish forever.
Whether that is a heartfelt note of love, a baby's fingerprint, lock of hair, or the ashes of a loved one...it is a beautiful way to hold personal love close.
We are proud to have now made many many LOVE IN A JEWEL's for people.
From an 18th birthday gift with a note from the parents inside to an 80th birthday gift with a note from the whole family inside.
Love notes from partners, a leaf from the tree a much-loved dad planted, to wedding proposals...every single LOVE IN A JEWEL® holds it's own story.
